An eLearning Grammar Lesson
This is a lesson on the use of adverbs and modals to express uncertainty. There are animated illustrations to explain key concepts, as well as knowledge check multiple choice and drag-and-drop exercises. This was made in Adobe Captivate (2019) and is hosted in a repository on GitHub.

LMS Courses
Canvas, Blackboard, Moodle
I have been teaching synchronous online classes using Canvas since March of 2020 at Bunker Hill Community College. I used Blackboard to support my in-person teaching at the University of Connecticut and at Goodwin University. I have been certified on how to use Moodle to develop and teach asynchronous online courses.
Phonics and Pronunciation
Here are some instructional materials I developed using Adobe and other tools to support adult learners who were not familiar with the Roman alphabet and English spelling-pronunciation relationships.
Phonics Video: Power Point Animations with Voice-Over
I chose words from a dialog the students needed to practice, and grouped them by main vowel sound. I made a slide for each vowel group using color to highlight spelling patterns, and timed “emphasis” animations with the voiceover pronunciation of each word. The video was recorded using Screen-Cast-O-Matic.
Pronunciation Cards:
InDesign & Excel
I created an Excel database with the file paths and text for each image. In Adobe InDesign, I created a layout for flashcards with placeholders for images and text. Then, I used data merge with the Excel file to generate flashcards that dynamically inserted the text and images as needed.

Book Cover Mock-Up
This was a project for a Photoshop class I took at RISD. Goal: re-create the cover of a book using Photoshop
